20th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Artistic
Leading roots
The roots leading to Neuschwanstein castle, a beautiful pearl hidden in the bavarian forest. To be able to see the forground I combined four different exposures. Photo was taken during a rainy and cloudy sunset. Luckily, at one point the castle got slightly enlightend by the sun.
