When I last took my nine year old daughter Nola to visit my parents in Russellville, Arkansas, we went to the lovely interpretive center on the edge of Lake Dardanelle. It didn’t exist when I was growing up there, and I enjoy taking Nola there to hold turtles and see big aquariums of catfish, gar, etc. I noticed when taking her picture from different angles in front of the aquarium, that one friendly catfish literally seemed to be interested in her and was “following” her behind the glass. In this picture, they both appear to be happy and smiling, like good friends posing for the camera, which I found both funny and sweet.
