In mainstream media, Mexico has mostly been receiving negative coverage media as a country filled with drug-trafficking and cartel wars - an unfair portrayal for a place so rich in culture. The further south I went, the deeper I came to understand it's unique heritage, the struggle for peace, and the generosity of its people. Just like our own personal growth, Mexico is still on the process to achieve its best self. And along with this progress - I can't help but fall more and more in love each time I visit.
