People come from around the world to see the remote desert landscape of buttes and monuments. Having never seen it on a number of passes through the region in years past, it was a must inclusion on a recent 6-day road trip to the the 4 corners region (where CO, NM, AZ, and UT meet at a single point). Monument Valley is on Navaho Nation land just south of the AZ-UT state line.
