This photo was taken in Washington, DC, during what was at the time considered the last Rolling Thunder ever. I captured many amazing images that day, but I thought this was really the most striking. The Washington Monument dominates the background and the lone man on his motorcycle, casually riding, really stands out. I think there's a lot to say here about legacy, about equality, history, and the United States as a whole. The solidarity and unity, particularly strong during this Rolling Thunder, is captured in the image.
