The Pygmy Marmoset is the smallest primate on the planet. Known lovingly and locally in Colombia as 'Leoncito' they are one of the most sought after illegally trafficked animals for the illegal pet trade and often smuggled out of the country as babies. Pygmy Marmosets have unique mouths for chewing holes in special trees to drink the milky sap and also feed on insects.
