This photo was from my first community art project. It was dedicated to To Kwa Wan, an old district in Hong Kong. I was thinking back and forth on how to infiltrate aesthetic activities limited to pure art and refine culture into every corner of daily life; how to use imagination to eliminate the boundaries of life between each other. The photo was created to Look for the simple aesthetics belonging to To Kwa Wan (Hong Kong), and express the relationship between the public space and people of To Kwa Wan through the mutual gaze of light, lines, patterns and figures.
