A major difference between modern and classical architecture is that it pays more attention to the use of lines and surfaces, which makes the whole building more three-dimensional and leaves a deeper impression on people's minds. This public library in London has a spiral staircase connecting the first and second floors. Wooden walls, wooden stairs and wooden floors form a harmonious picture.
