Lichen on hawthorn tree
Walking across Thorney Island near Chichester in England, I was looking for scenes in order to take landscape photographs. I stumbled upon this unexpected beautiful sight of lichen on a hawthorn tree. With the sunlight beginning to fade this was my final and best photograph of the day.
