It was the last trip I'd be taking for the Southern Migration as the humpback whales headed home. This little one started breaching and seemed so excited as if to show us "I can do it too". It is unusual to see whales with black underbelly in Australia so we were even more transfixed on this little one. I called it "Licorice".
