This huge male tiger was resting the entire afternoon in a cave to beat the heat. He got up when the sun was near the horizon and the breeze turned a little cooler. As he moved out from the cave into the open, the jungle quite till then, erupted with several alarm calls of varied species. It was evident from his bulging tummy that he has been eating well. He walked straight to the open grassland where a big herd of Spotted Deer were foraging. It was a fascinating sight that the herd was standing still, alert though, while the tiger walked past quite close to them. They could probably sense that tiger is not hungry and not in any mood to hunt.
