Life is tough for a shark
I greatly admire the beauty and strength that a Great Hammerhead Shark can display. They are graceful swimmers who must constantly move to breath. Targeted by humans for their precious dorsal fin, life can be hard for a shark. This female still bares the scars of bites that occur during mating. She was also caught on a fishing line; the hook remains embedded in her jaw.
