Any form of travel which don't compromise the destination's original identity and allow traveler to enjoy, is, in my view is sustainable travel. The picture presented here is showing a sage with his bicycle and all of his belonging which he pack everyday to move on for next destination. This ethic of his to keep it simple while on road is the core philosophy of travelers of all type. After nobody is able to take anything with them when the road will end.
