Weathered wings :This photo was taken on my parents farm off a small dock dad had made for the pond in his pasture many many years ago. Many family memories were made at this pond , and on the farm in general. A few years back I lost my mom to brain cancer, the most devastating time of my life, I have bern lost fir the past few years, and am trying to find joy again for my children's sake! I often go to the farm to bring back memories of the times I've lost, and to remind me how lucky I am and the things in nature Gid has blessed us with. This dragon fly caught my eye with his weathered wings. He seemed to be looking back at me through my camera lens. He reminded me we are all a little weathered from Life's Journey, but we can't let that keep us from living life to the fullest. A true reminder of my life's journey. This small creature took time to bring me some joy this day.
