Light Dimming Over Zion
After two long days of hiking over 25 miles, my friend and I decided to settle into a campsite which overlooked the Zion Valley in Utah. The view was spectacular, but we were in for an even bigger surprise as the sun began to descend. The light dimmed and highlighted the huge rock formations of the valley below. This shot was taken during this time. Watching the light dance over the rocks as the sun said "Good night" we were thankful that we got to witness the unique, fleeting beauty of the sunset.
