Light Test (Amaryllis)
This image started as a light test for another project, but became a focus of some of my work made during the Covid-19 Pandemic. With little options for indoor studio subjects, I began photographing flowers my husband brought home for me from his small floral business. What began as a light test became a practice in seeing and appreciating the quiet beauty in studio still life. This series is ongoing.
