The lighthouse on Boca Grande Island, Florida is said to be built in 1890. It is the oldest structure on the Island. I often wonder about the many experiences it has been through with the high seas and winds and people that may have lived there years ago. What they wore, what they looked like. It is said to be haunted with different occurrences and has been threatened by beach erosion. Sometimes you can still feel the presence of the Inn Keepers as you walk the beach when the cool salty wind blows onto your face almost forcing you to go into the Lighthouse.
