Linn Cove Viaduct on the NC Blue Ridge Parkway
"Secret" photography spot for viewing the Linn Cove Viaduct (Blue Ridge Parkway MM 304). The viaduct was designed in such a way as to not cut into the mountain side, thereby giving it the appearance of "floating in the sky". The profile of Grandfather Mountain can be seen in the distance.
