A lion found a spot to rest upon sunrise. We came across the lion on our last game drive in the Khwai Community Area in Botswana. Before it settled in this spot in the high grass, it walked directly alongside the open door jeep we were in. If you look closely, there are scratches on the lion's face, indicating a recent fight.
