This image was made at the Spanish Town Mardi Gras Parade in Baton Rouge Louisiana. Like all other kids and adults this little girl was catching beads and toys thrown from the floats. She sat on her dad's shoulder for a leg up over others. I had asked her parents if I could photograph her for most access. I managed to capture a moment as she caught one of beads thrown at her direction.
