On September 21, 2025, it was photographed at the Temple of Putuo Zongcheng in Chengde Mountain Resort, Hebei Province, China. The Little Potala Palace was built in imitation of the the Potala Palace in Xizang by Emperor Qianlong of the Qing Dynasty to celebrate his mother's 80th birthday and his 60th birthday. This photo was taken from the highest point of the mountain peak in the summer resort, overlooking it. Just in time, a ray of sunlight was shining on the Little Potala Palace, presenting its full view to me.
