Living Outdide the Black Box

This picture displays a me enjoying the awesomeness of Russell Glacier in Kangerluassuaq, Greenland. I took this picture in my Iphinr 6 plus. And added a simple Clarendon filter. I instantly looked at the picture and it showed me so much more then me standing at the base of a glacier. It depicted me embracing that it is possible to live outside the "black box". The black box being the stereotypes that are placed on Blacks and travel. And black women in general. Here I shows that "we" (black women) do travel solo. We do travel the world. We do cold weather. We do embrace nature. We do hike. And we do live outside of the box. Especially the "Black Box".
