This is Rachael, the subject of my documentary project on #StrongWomen. This moment was shot April 2014 @EquineAffaire in Columbus, Ohio. Rachael had just finished competing in the Versatile Horse and Rider Competition with a horse she borrowed from a friend. She had little time with the horse to prepare, but is a natural rider. Unfortunately, she did not make it to the next round of competition, and that's why I love this picture. She got back up on the horse and took care of business anyways.
