After a failed illegal attempt by an outside businessman to tap into the natural spring water to build a resort, locals continue to use the water source but not before burning down the resort in retaliation. The natural spring is located on my family's land and is protected by friends and family who cultivate and utilize the land to make a living. To this day, you can still see the burnt remains of the resort, a strong visual reminder to fight for and protect what belongs to us.
