This scene was taken during a photo expedition in January of 2020 to the Lofoten Islands on the western coast of Norway. I took this as a monochrome image in early morning to accentuate the essential emotional impression of the scene of a winter farm - cold, isolated, stormy, and stark. The temperature was 30 degrees with 35 miles per hour wind.
