On a trip to Yosemite this image the lone pine sticking out against the massive wall of Half Dome was striking to me. The early sunset lighting was perfect. This is a unique place of great beauty in the West, not to be missed. We stayed in the park for 5 days in December so we avoided most of the crowds.
