An hour prior to the time of this photo, the entire canyon was shrouded in fog. As the fog lifted, the vistas became more and more spectacular. Reminiscent of the Lone Cypress at Pebble Beach, this tree seems to say "There's beauty in the large vast scene ahead, but also in the individual."
