Lonely House in Lone Pine

My friend and I were hiking in the surreal landscapes of the Alabama Hills, on a trail off the Highway 395 in California. We were surrounded by the majestic snowcapped Eastern Sierra Nevada. At the end of our walk I noticed this isolated house, surrounded by nothing else than the natural rugged beauty of this high desert region. The simple constructed house felt lonely, but at the same time serene, I guess because of the color tones matching the outdoors.
