Long Day

The way the sunlight filtered through these magnificent works of art that captured my attention. Rays of golden light, like ethereal fingers, stretched across the cold stone, illuminating the grandeur of the church. The dust particles floating in the air danced and twirled, as if celebrating the beauty of this divine spectacle. I found myself irresistibly drawn to one particular window, where the sun's rays allowed my ancestors to come alive, under the suns embrace. Each delicate brushstroke conveyed a sense of peace and serenity that transcended time itself. Mesmerized, I gingerly made my way towards the warm glow, feeling the ancient wooden pews under my fingertips. As I sat down, the worn seat welcomed me, providing a sense of comfort as I gazed up at the glass masterpiece. Luminous hues bathed my face, uplifting my spirit and washing away the weariness of the day. In this luminous sanctuary, time seemed to slow down, and the worries of the outside world faded away. The sunlight's gentle touch wrapped me in a solace that words could not express. It was a moment of pure bliss, a respite from life's trials and tribulations. I stopped taking photos and sat down in an open booth. I realized how lucky I was to witness and be in that moment. I left the church, not caring or even realizing that I had taken then perfect shot. It was meant to be, and I live in that space every day. To be thankful for everything big and small.
