This is a photograph from my current photography portfolio class. I'm exploring my relationship with loneliness and how that affects how I see the world and myself. There were various times when I felt lonely, not in control, and watching the days float by. I wanted to photograph these complicated feelings so I could make sense of them and accept them as a normal stage of life. I also chose to photograph this specific theme because I don't tend to make personal work about myself, so this felt like a good opportunity to challenge myself on that.
