Grass feathers mark the advent of the festive season in Bengal. The Durga Pujo, the greatest festival of Bengal is awaited by every Bengalee world wide as a time to reach back to their roots, get dressed in fine clothing and jewellry and socialise and reach out. This time, the pandemic has made us look forward to the festivities with trepidation, hoping for the best but keeping the worst in mind. I used the power lines to connect to the distant horizon, to create a sense that the beauty of the foreground reaches far beyond what meets the eye.
