One day, I was going to pick up lunch when I noticed the sun along with its reflection crossing over the bronze statue of Atlas carrying the celestial sphere on his shoulders at Rockefeller Center across from St. Patrick's Cathedral in midtown Manhattan. I wondered whether it could have been a battle between two Titans from Greek mythology, Atlas and Helios.
