Lord Teddy

Lord Teddy is a black Goldendoodle puppy. His mother was a black French poodle, and his father, a golden retriever. He was one of two black puppies born into the litter, the other 8 were golden. The golden Goldendoodle puppies were adopted right away, while Lord Teddy and his sister remained. When I first met Lord Teddy, he crawled into my lap and fell asleep. I was in love. Taking photos of dogs with dark coats and dark eyes can sometimes pose as a challenge, but rather than allowing this to discourage me, I was all the more determined to take portraits to showcase and celebrate Lord Teddy’s physical traits that make him unique. He is a puppy full of energy and playfulness so it came as a surprise to me that he actually sat still and posed for me (with the help of some puppy treats).
