Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) deserted and with not traffic due to the covid-19 pandemic captured on May 7, 2020. Shown here the upper loop (World Way) for departures only. What is usually a very busy one-way street filled with hundred of buses, taxis, cars, shuttles and official vehicles was completed empty with no movement during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic. LAX is the world's fourth-busiest airport by passenger traffic and eleventh-busiest by cargo traffic, serving over 88 million passengers and more 2 million tons of freight and mail in 2019. It is the second-busiest airport by passenger boardings in the United States.
