Since Ancient times till now the cow is seen as symbol of earth and fertility in many asian countries. Killing a cow and spilling it's blood was known for the end of winter time and production of life energy. In this picture we can see the head of a cow whose blood was spilled many times on the same earth, however it couldn't avoid harm to the people.
