Devastating fire destroyed hundreds of shanty homes & made thousands of people homeless at Rupnagar slum, Mirpur, Dhaka. People who lives in these shanty homes are mostly migrant people from different parts of the country. Dreams of the big city goes astray with fire every year of these people due to poor construction which are made without proper guideline and violating rules and regulations inlcduing fire protection law.
