Lost Generation

“If everyone fought for their own convictions there would be no war.” War and Peace by Leo Tolstoy War never been a solution to any problem. Children affected by war are often reported as being “brutalised”: the implication is of damaged psychologies and moral norms and of diminished humanity. The United Nations Children's Fund has stated that “time does not heal trauma” for millions of such children, who are often described as a “lost generation.” This symbolic image shows a war situation where an urge revels from a child who is waving a white cloth to end the brutal war.
