While visiting family near Niagara Falls, we sometimes walk across the Rainbow Bridge to enjoy the view from the Canadian side. On this particular day, our sole purpose was to capture long-exposure photos, so I packed my tripod in my backpack. When we arrived in Niagara Falls, Canada, there were no lines at customs, a clear sign that tourism was down. With so few visitors around, it was easy to set up my tripod right on the sidewalk without worrying about it becoming a tripping hazard.
