My last day in San Diego proved to be the most symbolic of an entire month in SoCal. The end of my trip brought me to the island of Coronado, home of the famous Hotel Del Coronado. I was lucky enough to catch this ferocious sunset while also capturing a young boy, full of wonder, witnessing the day escape. I saw myself in his little silhouette and thought of it as a gentle reminder to retain wonderment even at the end of a journey.
