Venice, Italy has truly unique light on certain days - and I was lucky enough to be there on such a day. This is in the morning and the pastel skies reflected off the calm waters of the Grand Canal and the surrounding buildings. The morning haze provided perfect diffuse light that permitted the colors of the buildings and the boats to really pop.
