A dead walleye was floating nearby, in one of Ontario's many lakes. The skies were empty when I first saw the fish, but soon after an eagle swooped from out of nowhere to catch some lunch. In another moment both bird and prey were gone. I guess the praise of eagle eyes is well deserved.
