Lunchtime

I was given the rare privilege of being allowed to tag along for a few hours with the forest rangers of Pang Sida National park. The forest rangers there regularly patrol for Rosewood poachers that come from Cambodia, and armed confrontations aren't uncommon. The first part of the patrol is relatively close to a ranger station, so the likelihood of running into any poachers was small. Around lunchtime we stopped in a clearing near a small stream. Here one of the rangers is heating some noodles.
