Machu Picchu

It was a very early morning to visit Machu Picchu, because we wanted to be one the very first people to visit, and we were. In this photo you can see the first morning light shining from above the mountain on Machu Picchu giving it a glow. Machu Picchu is a city that was made in the 15th century as a place for worship and work. In the 16th century the city was abruptly abandoned and left to the jungle. In 1866 the city was rediscovered and made to a tourist place you can visit today.
