14th Annual Smithsonian Magazine Photo Contest Altered Images
"Magic Tree" a colorful Chinese maple tree found in the park at Point Defiance zoo Tacoma Wa
I used a Nikon d600 dslr with a Nikon 70-200 2.8vr lens and 1.7x teleconverter. f/4.8 1/500th sec Iso 1100. The photo shows a Chinese Maple with the sun back lighting the whole scene. its a close up, revealing many colors as it draws the viewer in with its magic.
