I woke up at 4:00 am and left my tent to drive to Oxbow Bend, the morning was cold but that didn't stop me from continuing with my objective. When I arrived at the parking lot I set up my camera and waited for the sun to rise, the colors were changing from dark blues, passing through this purple/blue color before it was fully bright. I had been waiting for years to take this picture and be able to see the colorful landscape.
