This photo shows the Majestic tower of Chola Temple (210 Feet high) which dates back to 10th Century BC and still standing as an architectural, historical and cultural representation. This place were the temple is located is far away from the Mountain and hilly areas which in turn the Granite rocks used in the construction of this Mega structure has been transported from the far away land using ‘Herds of Elephant’. This tower holds lof of architectural mysteries ranging from Shadow less Tower to Single rock used. I have categorized this under 'Sustainable Travel' since i believe this ‘UNESCO Approved World Heritage Monument’ needs more recognition and should receive more light from worldwide Media which in turn will help in preserving and promoting this Majestic Architectural structures standing for centuries. This promotion also plays a major part in improving the Eco and Historical Tourism in and around this place.
