He was perched on a branch amongst the the buds on our Flowering Crab apple tree in our backyard mid- afternoon on a sunny day earlier in May when I shot this picture. It is a special treat to see these colorful Orioles when they arrive here in the spring and fun to watch and capture their activity as they eat jelly from the feeder. They just left a few days ago to migrate south.
