I love visiting Piedras Blancas Elephant Seal Rookery on the Central California Coast. The boardwalk is close enough for great photos while keeping the seals and humans safe. Every month of the year show different seal behavior. I saw this huge male Elephant Seal showing dominance over the two smaller seals and couldn't resist taking the photo. Male seal can be over 4000 pounds...wow.
