Male King Eider in morning light
This is a male King Eider photographed from a floating hide in the harbour of Baatsfjord in Norway north of the Arctic Circle. I had travelled by plane and car for two days to make it this far north where many King Eiders spend their winter before leaving to breed in Siberia during spring.
