Male Pileated Woodpecker is busy pecking a hole for it's nest.
This tree is in the middle of a bog, providing a very safe place for a Pileated Woodpecker to raise a family. Dad pecks away making the hole large enough to raise his family. When he pecks enough wood chips, he spits them out.
